Run your dive centre, even when the internet doesn't.
Waves handles check-in, trips, bills, courses, kit hire, staff pay and CDWS paperwork. It lives on a PC at your centre, so your front desk keeps working and your guests' data stays with you.
What Waves does
- Check-in
- One screen for a new or returning guest: certification, last dive, medical form, kit sizes and their dives or course. Companions go on one booking.
- The day board
- Trips, dives and groups by time, by guide or by boat. Drag guests between groups. Warnings before the boat leaves, not after.
- CDWS paperwork
- The trip notification details ready to copy into the CDWS app, a signed guest list, roll call and the offline Excel form. Checks 1:12, DSD from shore and first aiders.
- Bills and payments
- Dives, courses, kit hire and extras priced by themselves, with price bands and packages. Invoices, stay reports and a check-out check so nobody leaves owing money or kit.
- Courses
- Classes, students and every course part, ticked off as dives are marked done. Certify in one step.
- Kit and servicing
- Hire by item or a full set in the guest's size, returns, and servicing and hydro dates for every item.
- Staff pay
- Pay per dive, guest, trip, course part or day, with every line explained. Commission for agents, hotels and staff sales.
Built in the Red Sea
Waves grew out of the database a Dahab dive centre has run on since 2012. It keeps what worked there, a counter screen the front desk lives in and paperwork that matches CDWS, and fixes what didn't.
Founding centres in the Red Sea: €29 a month for the first year, with set-up and training free. After that, from €59 a month per centre. Up to five centres.
Questions centres ask
Does Waves work without internet?
Yes. Waves is installed on a PC at your centre. Staff use it on tablets and phones over the centre's own Wi-Fi, so check-in, trips and bills carry on when the internet drops.
Where is my guests' data kept?
On your own PC, at your centre. Waves does not copy guest data to a server. Backups are encrypted, and you decide where they go. That also makes Egypt's data protection law simpler to follow.
Does Waves prepare CDWS paperwork?
Yes. For each trip it prepares what the CDWS Trip Notification app asks for, in the same order, plus a printable guest list, roll call and the offline Excel layout. Read our guide to CDWS trip notifications.
What does it cost?
From €59 a month per centre. Add-ons for accommodation, transfers, gas and nitrox, and shop stock are about €10–15 a month each. Staff pay, commission and CDWS paperwork are always included.
Is Waves only for Egypt?
It starts with centres in Egypt. Centres elsewhere can book a demo call and join the waiting list.
What happens to my data if I stop using Waves?
It stays on your PC. You can export everything, and Waves keeps running read-only so you can still print your records.
