What Waves warns you about when you plan trips
Waves warns about oversize groups, certification and depth, double-booking, boat capacity, paperwork, payment, lapsed staff cards and missing safety kit.
Waves warns rather than blocks, and a manager can still save over most warnings with a reason.
- Group over its size limit, for example 1:2 for a Discover Scuba Diving.
- Guest below the minimum certification or depth.
- Guest or staff member double-booked.
- Boat over capacity.
- Missing paperwork or payment.
- Staff visa or card lapsed.
- No first aid or oxygen kit sent on a boat, or a check is due.
- A diver alone on an unguided buddy dive.
